Today started very early for River. We played shuffleboard on deck so that the rest of the family could sleep in a little, and watched the ship pull into port.
After breakfast we visited the Dutch side of St. Marten. It’s a tiny little island, half French and half Dutch. We decided to just take an easy day at the beach, so we took a taxi to Little Bay for snorkeling.
The water was crystal clear, and we could see where the buoys were anchored without even putting our heads in the water.
We rented snorkels and explored the reef right near the shore. Liam especially did a lot of snorkeling. We saw lots of fish.
The dock was fun to jump off of.
We had lunch at a restaurant on the beach.
The kids played in their pool while we waited for the food.
Of course, we can’t go anywhere without kids jumping off of something.
We left the island relaxed and happy after a wonderful day at the beach.
The desserts on the ship have been amazing.
The kids went to adventure ocean while we packed the rooms for the morning departure. Then they said goodbye to the kind people who work there. Willow says that she will especially miss Kit Kat
We had lovebirds and a very cool turtle waiting in our rooms.
