After a good snow in our local mountains, we decided to take a quick weekend trip to Big Bear to ski. We got a cute cabin a few minutes from the lifts. The town was still decorated for the holidays, which was pretty.
We went to Snow Summit first thing the next morning. Despite the recent snow, they were blasting the snow making machines, and only a portion of the runs were open.
We got some good family time in, and the kids got their ski legs back after taking a year off from the slopes.
At lunch time, River ate a burrito that was bigger than his head!
We always try to book a place with a jacuzzi, especially when we go to the snow. We lucked out finding this cute cabin last minute, and we had so much fun in the hot tub after skiing all day.
